I handed out materials today and we started our type tracing assignment.
Three goals:
Inspect differences in typefaces
Try to organize the information
Good craftsmanship
Sketchbooks have been ordered. I will advise when they come in.
Last class 9.9.08 we discussed chapter 1 and should have done the white on white assignment, but the cutting boards are in yet.
Items Due:
Chapter 2 read for Tuesday
One page (at least) analysis and response to the item/idea that has most affected you from the Universal Traveler (you should have read through page 35 by now).
Work on the type tracing outside of class
